Psilocybin Retreats
The Chariot Retreat Experience
Like all journeys with Chariot, our multi-day retreats are offered in serene settings curated for your comfort and inner exploration. While a single journey can be immensely meaningful, multiple sessions are often required for the greatest benefit, particularly when addressing complex mental health issues or trauma. Like many who have worked with psilocybin before us, we find great benefit in sharing the experience with a small and intentional group.
With time away from our daily routines, Chariot Retreats offer you space to fully dive into your experience with fellow guests and expert facilitators by your side.
Generally, our retreats are structured as follows:
Daytime: We come together as a group for psilocybin sessions, shared meals, integration, and community connection, nestled in the warm embrace of the Chariot Boulder healing center. The center offers space to remain in the group setting, or find more private areas if desired, meeting each guest’s needs throughout their journey. On non-dosing days, guests engage in group integration sessions and are invited to relax, go to the spa, and partake in group activities in our beautiful surroundings.
Accommodations: Literal steps away, the Hotel Boulderado is ready to welcome Chariot Retreat guests with their historic charm, modern amenities and incredible location in the heart of Boulder.
We take care of the details - from airport transportation, accommodations, meals, and all the rest - you’re free to focus on your intentions, exploration and reflections to carry forward.

Retreat Facilitators
ANNA DESMARAIS
Licensed Facilitator & Registered Nurse
Anna (she/her) blends modern science and ancient wisdom to support clients in deep healing and transformation. Her relationship with psychedelic medicines spans more than three decades, and this experience with non-ordinary states of consciousness has deeply informed her path as a licensed facilitator. She has also trained and facilitated in Mexico, where her work with traditional healing ceremonies continues to shape her reverent approach.
As a Registered Nurse and board-certified Integrative Nurse Coach, Anna brings a unique blend of clinical expertise, ethically-informed care, and compassionate presence to every session.
Whether holding space for an individual or facilitating within a group, Anna emphasizes trust, safety, and connection as the foundation for transformation.
ULYSSES DIAZ
Licensed Clinical Facilitator & LCSW
Ulysses (he/him/El) was introduced to plant & fungi teachers through elders in his life. He has developed a long-lasting relationship with plant and fungi teachers in community. He always acknowledges the original stewards of these medicines and understands that it is thanks to mother earth, and the Mazatec and indigenous communities that we can embrace the mushroom, or rather let it embrace us. His approach is person centered and allows clients to feel safe and welcomed into this opportunity.
Ulysses took the first psychedelic studies course at Northern Illinois University EPFE 420, and continued to complete a Masters of Social Work degree at The University of Illinois at Chicago. He has completed trainings on MDMA, Ketamine and Psilocybin assisted psychotherapy. His intention is to create a bridge between the clinical and ceremonial approaches to this work.
Ulysses is ecstatic about this work and feels a great amount of privilege to support individuals in seeking support from psilocybin assisted psychotherapy.
Our Values
A SAFE, TRUSTED ENVIRONMENT
Everyone begins their journey from their own place. That’s why we meet our clients where they are and help them to feel safe, comfortable and supported. Caring for someone while they are in an altered state is important work, and we take it very seriously.
JOYFUL CURIOSITY
Each individual journey is an adventure, and we want to encourage our clients to explore! Likewise, we remain curious chaperones in your process: this is a non-directive practice, so our goal is to limit our influence on your experience as much as possible.
CLARITY OF CONSCIOUSNESS
We like to think of a psilocybin journey as an extended meditation – one that yields a level of clarity & confidence many clients have never experienced before. We aim to embody this feeling, preparing a quiet place within the mind for the effects to unfold.
RESPONSIBILITY & RESPECT
Psilocybin is not new: the mushroom has been in existence longer than human civilization, and humans have been using psychedelic mushrooms therapeutically for thousands of years. We have a deep respect for the environment where this medicine grows, shamanic practices around the world, and the lived experience of all who wish to journey.
Compassionate Care, Rooted in Experience
SERVING CLIENTS SINCE 2023 WITH PROFESSIONALISM, SAFETY & WARMTH
Chariot offers welcoming environments for individuals and groups to work with this natural psychedelic compound. We engage a highly-qualified, diverse network of facilitators, and provide a safe container for your journey. In each of our centers, we cultivate supportive and client-centered spaces, thoughtfully designed to feel as welcoming as home while ensuring the serenity needed to foster deep inner exploration.
